Sue Jutson, my Kitsilano Davis colleague is hosting Ron Davis here in Vancouver, as part of his N.American Lecture Tour. He will be here on Saturday August 22. He will be speaking at The Sanctuary, 949 Oak Street, from 1:30pm to 3pm, with book signing and refreshments afterwards.

We use the word dyslexia as an umbrella term, and we need to reach the children and adults who are out there, thinking they have a Learning Disability, when in fact, they have a wonderful way of thinking and learning, and that the challenges only arise because this way of thinking is not fully understood by those who teach them. The good news is that many more teachers and Learning Assistants are now aware that they need more understanding and tools! Thank you for your help!
