Our Mission Statement
To be an organization which offers a coordinated and central approach to addressing the needs of the dyslexic individual, their families and their community, while ensuring a safe place for accelerated learning, healing, education, social interaction, and support of individual growth and development.
Our Key Messages
Many talents are the upside of a 'gift' and many so-called 'learning disabilities' are the downside of a 'gift'. This 'gift' is a natural, innate perceptual ability.
There are two types of thinking, sound based and image based; individuals we serve think in the image-based style. These individuals appear challenged in the sound-based methods of learning.
Any individual is able to learn, if taught in their innate learning style. We encourage the education system to teach to both styles.
We only endorse methods which reach the cause of a challenge.
We acknowledge the whole person. We know harmony can be achieved. Learning, literacy, and numeracy really can be fun!
